Springtime is around the corner … the birds are chirping, the flowers are budding and it’s the best time of year to replenish yourself. With this in mind we have decided to begin offering free qi gong classes at Two Trees Acupuncture!
Qi gong is to China as yoga is to India.
By utilizing the observations over time of proper movement, breath work, and visualization, our Chinese medical ancestors handed down certain principles and techniques to keep the mind sharp, the body supple, and the heart calm.
We are happy to offer qi gong as a free class to benefit our community. Classes will include guided qi gong movement and breath work, as well as sitting and/or walking meditation. Many people ask us what exactly is qi gong, but the best way to learn about it is to come and practice. We invite you to come every Wednesday evening at 6:15 pm until 7:00 pm to partake and learn this ancient art. (wear loose comfortable clothing & shoes)
Come and take away a beautiful method for preserving your health and calming your mind. Spring is the season for beginnings, and we could not think of a better way than offering a qi gong class to align ourselves with the qi of Springtime.
